Sponsorship of these events is the key to the financial growth and success of each event, and we are grateful for the many area companies, families, and organizations that support and attend these events throughout the year.

Event Guidelines
When you support the the CAC by hosting an event, you’re benefiting our organization financially and by bringing awareness about our mission to the community! Consult with our staff for ideas, marketing and social media support, and on-site staff support.
Please give 30 days' notice to request a member of our staff to attend your event. You can send this request to outreach@cacgroc.org.

Event Planning: Tips for Success

Purpose: Does the event help create awareness of the CACGROC's mission and values? Will the event motivate the community to act?

Target Audience: Consider who will be attending and participating in the event. Will the event be open to the community? Will you be selling tickets?

Timeline: Choose a date far enough in advance to give yourself time to work on all the fabulous details. Consult with our staff for help, and be aware of conflicting events in the community.

Promotion: Consult with our staff to help promote the event. Tag us on social media to help bring the community to our page and create awareness. We love to share what our Champions for Children are doing!

Budget: Set a realistic budget and fundraising goal. Estimate the costs of all the different factors that go into the event. It is always recommended to be transparent with supporters about the donation you will be making to our organization.

Managing Donations: After your event, there are several ways you can send us your donations. Whether it is online through our website or by mailing it to us, we appreciate your contributions!
Event Promotion
Logo & Messaging: Upon request, our staff will send the proper logo and messaging to be used for promotional purposes. Please do not take the logo off our website.
Basic guidelines for logo usage:

Logo must appear prominently on all promotional materials

Logo must be used in whole

The aspect ratio of the logo cannot be altered

Colors of the logo cannot be altered
Promotional Templates: We will provide templates for flyers and social media posts upon request.

Choosing to host a fundraiser for The CACGROC helps support the mission and vision of the organization. We rely on the generosity of donors to allow us to provide our services to the community!
Yes! Please contact staff at outreach@cacgroc.org to coordinate the pickup of a package of The CAC’s literature for the event.
Yes, absolutely, but you must have pre-approval to use The Child Advocacy Center’s name or logo on any promotional materials. It must be clear that fundraising is done on behalf of The CAC. Please contact staff (outreach@cacgroc.org) for assistance.
For example: “The Golf Tournament to benefit The Child Advocacy Center” NOT “The Child Advocacy Center’s Golf Tournament”
There is no minimum fundraising amount. We value and appreciate donations of any size!
Unfortunately, while we would love to support all volunteer led events, we are unable to support your event costs. We encourage you to think of creative ways to reduce the costs of your event or contact our staff for ideas at outreach@cacgroc.org
Wonderful! Please refer to The CAC’s Wishlist for ideas of items that the children we serve need.
No. The volunteer event organizer is responsible for providing insurance, permits or licenses involved in the planning of a volunteer-led event. The CAC can provide a letter of authorization stating that the event is being organized with permission from the agency.
The CAC can only provide receipts for money and items given directly to The CAC from the donor.
What a great idea! It is important to thank the individuals who showed their support for your event benefiting The CAC. A note, card or email is a great way to show your gratitude for their care!
