As we step into a new year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible progress we’ve made together and share our vision for 2025. Your unwavering support has been the cornerstone of our efforts to protect and empower the children and families we serve.
In 2024, thanks to the work of our incredible Intervention Team, we were able to provide comprehensive services to nearly 2,000 new children, offering hope and healing in the face of unimaginable challenges. From expanding our therapeutic programs to strengthening partnerships across Monroe County, we have worked tirelessly to create a safer and more supportive community for all children. Our Prevention Team also grew to now serving 24 school districts across 6 counties.
Looking ahead, 2025 promises to be a year of growth and innovation. We plan to expand our prevention education initiatives- including a new partnership with the Rochester City School District, ensuring more families and professionals have the tools to recognize and respond to signs of abuse. Additionally, we will be fully launching a new mental health clinic, and a new prevention services center at our second location-The Mark and Maureen Davitt Beacon Place at Skyview on the Ridge to address gaps in services and amplify the voices of the children we serve.
But we can’t do it alone. As we embark on this next chapter, we need your continued partnership to turn these plans into reality. Your support—whether through donations, volunteer efforts, or spreading awareness—makes all the difference. Together, we can ensure that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
